The second and final week of billeting in my first rotation is underway. I've had an interesting week, I found out from one of my work supervisors (I have three. I'll explain later) that I will get to drive the "Olympia" this week. Olympia is an ice resurfacing machine competing with Zamboni. Anyways, my billet family took me to a "fish fry" fundraiser, which had extremely good food. We've also gone on two hikes, one of which I did for the second time, but this time with about 1.5 feet of snow on the trail.
This is also the three week mark before we go to our next stop, Trois-Rivieres, Quebec. I'm really excited to go, but I'm really nervous too, because I'm only just getting a grip on the French language. But I'll do fine, if I don't make a fool out of myself first.
Til next time, Don't Get Eliminated!
